    The machine cycles seem to work fine, only that the water and drying process does not get hot. Is this a clear cut that the Instantaneous water heater has failed. I have reset the machine (held in the 1st and 3rd buttons and turned on).

    Any assistance welcome

    Again in your case (like all the other similar models listed in this forum) it is very likely that part of the Control Module PCB has burnt away adjacent the Heater relay terminal.

    It can be repaired simply and easily by a local independent engineer (see Repairs@)

    Alternatively a new Control Unit costs £97.53 (Part No 264877 via http://www.bshappliancecare.co.uk)
