Bosch SGS53C02GB/15 dishwasher not cleaning

Bosch SGS53C02GB/15 FD8405 Dishwasher

Faults reported:-
1) Poor wash results.
2) Stops just before the end of the programme and won’t move to end.

But machine heats, pumps out quickly, fills OK, pipes not blocked, wash motor runs fine, rotors not blocked. Customer was using 3 in 1 tabs but has changed to salt/ powder/rinse aid regime on my advice 3 weeks ago. Rang back yesterday to say it’s still no better. Worst of all, it never stops on the cycle for me!
Any thoughts, anyone? I’m out of ideas at the moment. 😕

Hya aqua,
I don’t know if you are a BSH engineer, but there is a good chance that this appliance is still under the 2 year manufacturers guarantee.
The FD says it was made May 2004, just for your info.
As for the fault, you’ve checked the usual suspects 🙂

Thanks for the info Greg, I’ll check with the customer on that guarantee situation – just would be nice to know what the root fault is. I hate leaving problems unsolved even if calling the manufacturer is the easiest way out of the dilemma. 🙁
