Bosch SGS53C12 dishwasher waste pipe replacement

Mice have eaten away at the waste pipe for the above machine. It seems easy enough to replace, except that I can’t get the plastic plate that fixes the waste pipe to the machine off. There are no screws, I can’t see any catches and I’m unwilling to use brute force (yet…). The plate also seems to provide fixing for the water inlet. Any ideas?

You will need to remove the lid and left hand side panel and all should become clear…but please make sure you unplug the machine and switch off the water supply first before attempting anything
