Bosch SGS55C02GB/01 Dead

I’ve got a 16 year old Bosch SGS55C02GB/01. On Thursday it stopped working, mid-cycle and is now completed dead – no power at all to the display. I was in another room, but I think I heard some kind of clunk / bang around the time it would have gone off.

I’ve tried a couple of very obvious things (eg fuse). From googling, the thermal fuse, pump and motor would seem to be potential candidates. Any suggestions about my next move?

not going to be any of those

you have no supply to the timer so its either going to be
broken wire from where mains comes in to the switch and then to the timer

the switch
or my money is on the timer

I would open the timer and look for circuit damage
