    Hello

Went to check our Bosch SGS56E02GB/47 because I could smell burning, and found the LED display was off. But the machine still appeared to be washing away, albeit not making any progress. A little water is present in the bottom.

On examination, we found evidence of arcing on the controller circuit board on one of the pins of a relay. Have replaced that relay, but no change in symptoms. i.e. the machine powers up and there is ‘washing activity’, but the wash cycle does not progress, and there is still no LED display.

Have proven the pump will operate (via the float).

We suspect the controller will have to be replaced but any ideas gratefully received.
    Thanks.

Without question the Control Unit (PCB) will need replacing BUT there may be other issues that may have caused the fault? So, looks like an expensive gamble to go any further with this. 🙁
