Went to one of these today. When it’s towards the end of it’s fill at the beginning of the cycle, the water valve opens and closes in quick short pulses which rattles the customers house pipes around. I have heard this before while repairing washing machines for people and been in the same room as the dishwasher and even my own Hotpoint built in slim line one used to do it (which is still running fine at my friends house.)
I removed the top, sides and front plinths to access the regeneration unit on the L/H side and cleaned the plastic pipe that runs into the sump from the regen unit. I also removed part of the float mhzm where the micro switch is (not the flood protection one) and cleaned it best I could. put it all back together….. It was still the same.
As usual for me, was my last job and had to dash for nursery run :rolls:
any ideas folks?
