Have been to look at Non RCD protected house with blown tracks and components on Board. The third track with red white wire to switch has popped along with a couple of Resistor shaped components. The usual suspect Relay track has also blown But customer did not report cold wash/ infinite wash. Is this a symptom of the common heater relay track?
    Have not seen this before.

You’ve got a short somewhere Simon – the heaters do blow occasionally, but you’re going to have to check everything. These ones don’t seem to do the broken wire in door thing, so it’s got to be a component failure. Motor and heater are the only things that draw any real current so start there.

Thanks Chris. Will check heater motor etc. If it has run for hours i suspect fried motor.

Fitted a test board i had to check operation. Does the heater come on, on the first 70 degree saucepan wash which i would have thought would be a cold prewash. Test board has had heater relay resoldered.

No shorts/LI/leaks. Sat watching quickwash o.k. Lots of spilt tea on top though. 😕
