Went to this appliance today and the customer is complaining that on a “normal” wash the top spray arm is not working at all and the dishes in the top basket are still comming out dirty!
Although if he puts it on top basket washing only , it is fine!
Has anyone come across this before? or have any ideas please?Jazz

Check first the water level (lapping the threads of the salt container is normal) to ensure it fills OK. Check that during a “Normal” wash that the water point diverter valve switches between top and bottom spray arms every 55secs. And that with the bottom spray arm off and the top basket removed that the flow rate from each port is like the Trevi fountain.
If the answer is YES to all of the above tell the customer to stop bothering you as there’s nowt wrong with it. If NO to any of the above then its a water inlet issue, duff water diverter/heater unit or the circulating pump impellor is blocked with something. (In that order!)
