    Hi,
The dishwasher stops functioning part way through a programme at the rinse cycle. Running the ‘quick wash’ programme, it fills, washes, pumps out but then fails to fill for the rinse cycle. The discharge pump continues to run until the end of the programme. The programme times out after a ‘long’ minute on the display at the end. No error codes display. The diverter valve appears to function normally. The heater works/water is heated. The circulation pump functions normally. The float/diaphragm assembly is clean and appears to function normally, micro switches seem okay (continuity make/break). I’ve checked for open circuit solenoid valves. Thermistor seems okay. I don’t know how to check the turbidity sensor. I replaced the control board; no change.
    Any suggestions please?
    Thanks.

Is the water pressure sufficient to allow the inlet matrix/heat exchanger to fill quickly and then overflow it’s contents into the tub?

Yes,fill seems normal, taking 1min 35 secs from valve open.

That is pretty slow then. Has the water pressure been turned down lately or is the inlet valves filter blocked with sediment?

Pressure hasn’t changed at about 1.2 bar. Filter not blocked.

Does the control board/power module I changed have to be configured?

Not sure……I’ve never ever had the need to change one but even so the new module would come with a configuration instruction sheet as a rule.

Bosch confirmed it doesn’t need configuring. In program mode it indicates mode C5, please can you confirm whether this is correct? I’ve run the customer service test program and it completes with no errors.

“Running the ‘quick wash’ programme, it fills, washes, pumps out but then fails to fill for the rinse cycle”

Actually, this isn’t quite accurate. Running either Quick Wash or Auto Delicate programs, the tub fills and washing starts (the water softener cycle runs during this time). After the first wash cycle, the tub pumps out, pauses, circulation pump runs and then a fill starts. The water is shut off before the tub has filled properly, the circulation pump is churning/sucking air (rotors don’t spin). I would have expected the tub to fill to the normal level (which is why I’d assumed control/power module), but perhaps at this point, the fill is reduced/timed only? Back to your comment about slow fill – see next.

“Pressure hasn’t changed at about 1.2 bar”

This isn’t true either. I thought it was connected to our fully pumped system. In fact it’s connected to mains at +3bar. So if the inlet valve is not opening properly…

    Change the inlet valve?

At +3Bar that thing should fill like a fire hydrant hence why I said the 1.5 mins was a long time to fill. So the inlet valve would appear to be at fault here. Also pay attention to the outlet valve on the salt unit (the small valve to the right of the salt regeneration valve) as that too may be at fault?

    Re: Bosch SGS65L22GB/07

I fitted a new inlet valve and it’s made no difference. I don’t beleive the outlet valve is faulty. But in any case, at the start of a rinse cycle, the inlet valve is energised for 2 to 3 seconds only and is not energised again for the rest of the rinse cycle.

    Any further suggestions?

    Thanks.

Could somebody point me in the right direction please?
