    Hi,

My Bosch SGS6962GB/13 stopped and after investigation the base was flooding and the float was stopping the machine operating as designed. I drained the base and observed that during the fill of the water reservoir on LHS as it reached the top water ran down into the base (over the reservoir junction box). It’s only the LHS that the water builds up from.

I thought it might be gummed up, but after taking the reservoir off, I could see that water was able to squirt out of the bladder if I applied a small amount of pressure to test water tightness. Is this likely to be the only area it can leak from or should I check elsewhere.

How do I fix the bladder ? or is it a replacement job ?

    Thanks.

ps: Forgot to mention, once the water is drained it works fully, just leaks into the base when the reservior fills to the top.

I sealed up the reservoir OK and there’s still a leak, so that’s not where the water is leaking from. This problem seems to be related to the 1st time it fills the reservoir in the cycle… watching it fill, the water hit the top of the reservoir and overflows at the Pressure Chamber/Regulator into the base (by about an 1/8th cup each wash).

Any ideas… should I try and take the chamber and regulator out to clean ? 😥

Flow restriction somewhere…… if the “round the corner” hose is clear, strip and clean the pressure chamber area thoroughly.

    Hi,

Cleaning the pressure chamber did the trick. All working again now. Thanks P45.

    😀
