    HI there

I’m hoping someone can help me with a problem with my built in dishwasher. It’s a problem that’s been posted before in relation to other Bosch models – the water isn’t heating and it stays stuck on an endless cold pre-wash.

Inspired by what I’ve read here, I’ve pulled the logic board out and see that one power relay (an SHC SRE303006) has a single burnt out pin. Its the one labelled Heiz2 on the PCB so (schoolboy german to the rescue) I’m pretty sure its on the heating circuit.

As a non-electronics expert with limited soldering skills (one single pin connection is approaching my limit), my question is this.

Do I just need to clean and resolder this one connection or is the whole relay likely to be stuffed and need replacing?

If the whole relay needs replaced its a bigger soldering job, plus I can’t even find this relay part number on SHC’s website, never mind Maplins or RS to get a replacement.

    All advice gratefully received.

My finances are screwed at the minute so buying a new logic board would be bad news and replacing the whole dishwasher just isn’t an option.

    Thanks
