    We’ve got a Bosch SGV43A03GB/46 that’s recently not cleaning as well as it used to. If I open the door mid-cycle then the top arm seems to be spinning OK, but the lower arm isn’t moving. This fits with what we’re seeing — stuff on the bottom rack isn’t getting cleaned.

    What I’ve tried so far:

    * it seems to be heating OK
    * I’ve removed the lower panel and checked the flexible hose — no gung; seems very clean

    Any advice would be very welcome!

    The diverter valve (part of the heater unit) is duff. New heater unit needs fitting to cure. 🙁

    Ouch! Not cheap! Time to look at new dishwashers I fear.
