bosch SGV43E0GB/22 – not emptying

Hi there,

I have a integrated Bosch dishwasher, that now refuses to empty. I can hear a buzzing noise after it has run for a while but it does not want to empty. I have disconnected the hose drainded it all out, including all internal hoses, and checked the drain line, and have found no blockages. Any one have any pointers?

So you’ve checked everything except the drain pump then? It’ll be either blocked or failed. Power off, tip it back to a good angle, base panel off, twist off pump, remove foreign body.

Thanks Penguin45. I took the pump out and hey presto there was a piece of glass there. Dishwasher now working perfectly.
