Help needed please, the fully integrated bosch dishwasher keeps running with 1 minute left and the water is not getting hot. It runs ok on the rinse programme so I think it is a heating problem. I have checked the resistance of the heater high-limit and flow switch and all seem ok. I’ve also looked at the PCB and cannot see any dry/burned joints. Can a the heater relay fail without any visible evidence? and how do you test the NTC sensor?,I’ve checked the high-limit part.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated 😕

    Hi there!

Sorry if this sounds a bit of an odd question, does the pump run when you open the door on the dishwasher? I had one the other day that stuck around 1 minute and it turned out to just be a blockage in the pressure switch!

    May be worth checking!

Heater wise the only issue I have had is the element itself!

Thanks for your reply, it turned out to be caused by a large amount of black slime in the pressure chamber and associated pipes. I did a search on this site and discovered this is a common problem. We had been using the ‘all-in’ tablets and not dishwasher salt which was a big mistake. I am now using the salt to prevent this problem.
