As I was without a reliable Ins tester yesterday I couldn’t test the heater fully so I may have already sussed the fault but here goes.
Completes a rinse programme fine, or prewash. But whenever a programme that goes straight into the heat side of the wash programme, the thing drains and fills as normal, circ motor comes on for a short time, then starts to drain before filling fully. The float chamber looks clean as a whistle and the overfill float doesn’t move. No codes that I can see but will just drain for evermore after that. Going back with a new Ins Tester on Tuesday but just wondering if this is one the wizards have seen before 😉 .

Take a close look at the PCB as it could be the heater relay terminal has burnt and needs resoldering? Plus I’d take off the pressure chamber and double check it and the transfer pipe are totally clear of gunge or limescale. 🙂

Taken the plastic encased 👿 pcb off and given it a good coat of looking at but all appears fine. Must admit I didn;t see any signs of a hold up in the float area or outlet to the sump. Going back as soon as I’ve got my megger sorted. Having to use my 15 year old one which I dug out of a dark corner as a temporary measure. Still works fine but needs recalibrating. Just in case anyone was wondering 😉 .
