My dishwasher doesn’t seem to want to finish its cycle. It gets down to one minute and stays there. The plates are clean if not totally dry (not hot when door opened at the end). There appears to be a constant whirring noise coming from within and water just seems to drip out of the top rotary arm.
Any ideas anyone? I’ve had the dishwasher 10 years or so
It’s likely that there is gunge in the sump hose which cuases the machine to be short of water so the pump is starved and doesn’t circulate, heater is governed by water pressure in the machine so not enough water = no heat.
Simple fix but depends on your DIY capability, there are pic’s of the offending parts on here somewhere.
Thanks for the reply. The dishwasher water does get hot during the wash cycle though, it’s just from about 35 minutes to the end of the cycle that not alot happens? I guess that’s the drying bit? As I say it just makes a gentle whirring noise and water drips (slowly) from the top arm.
Re: Bosch SGV5613GB/12 getting stuck on 1 minute??
If you enter “Bosch AND one AND minute” in that exact format without the quotes in the search utility you will get plenty of reading, pictures included. 😉
