my question is will this fault cause the timer problem.
I feel it wont, but I could be wrong,so need advice. before buying a new timer.
thanks John

By “timer” I guess you mean control module and that would be the last option to consider. Almost always it’s a gunged-up pressure chamber/transfer pipe or flooded base tray. What have you checked so far anyway?
martin, about 2 weeks ago I removed the side tank water & level unit and fill hose to tub cleaned all parts.customer told me then I noticed a problem chaning programs after this work was done. ie contol module programes very intermittent.
possible module fault !!! what do you think.
thanks John
Martin, thanks for your response sorry to show my ignorance but can you please let me know where to find this sensor.
Is it the heater ntc sensor !!
thanks john
It’s the infra red sensor on the side of the heater unit. Generally only operates on ‘auto’ cycles though. Impellor jug also a caution as already been mentioned. Dont suspect module though at this stage. HTH?
