I’ve been trying to resolve a problem of the door opening mid cycle on a Siemans SN25M830UK/01. I have replaced the lock but the problem still occasionally occurs. Anyone experienced this? The lock type is the “Maglock” type residing in the body of the machine rather than the door.

i had one that was doing that through bad fitting

sounds like when it get hot its enough to expand something and cause the door to pop open

make sure its square if one leg is too high it twists door
make sure the hinges have not been strained

look at the hinges, chances are the “U” shape plastic inserts have broke or missing. I struggled on these, changing locks etc with no luck but then just stumbled upon the problem. The door sits a tiny bit too low for the latch to click in correctly and there is very little mechanical locking action going on with these.

Thanks everyone who responded. Will try the plastic “Guides” and report back.
