Bosch Single oven hbn560550b Display

Hi,
Customer has just been on the phone with a Bosch oven and the display for a few weeks has been flickering and doing strange things, but now they say that the display is just lit up all the time with every symbol illuminated.
The machine is still useable but they just cannot tell what setting or temperature they have set.
I’m presuming this is an indicator panel but from memory these machines are controlled by a module, could this be the cause before I order the display (indicator) panel.

think I would look first it

it has a ribbon cable may be dirty contacts or damaged cable

but you better warn cust it may not work again if you turn it off
