    Hi
    Bosch Slimline Classixx – SD13H1B or SRS43A02GB/08
Noticed evidence of water leak as it is seeping out the front from underneath. Investigated and doesn’t appear to be coming from the drain or fresh water inlet hoses at the back. Does appear to be dripping out from underneath approx 20cm from the front edge. Any idea where this is coming from, how to get to the leak source or what is causing it?
Sorry for dumb questions – probably a really common problem!
    thanks
    Ken

Re: Bosch Slimline – leak from underneath?

circulation motor seals commonly fail, salt regen dispenser less so. replaced enough circ seals. also the circ pump housing can degrade from rinseaid attacking the plastic. if that has happened it might be worth inspecting the impeller as that may be on its last legs too.

20 cm from anywhere on a slimline is virtually central, so could even be main sump seal but less likely…

power off and pull out about 6 inches – behind hte plastic kick plate (torx either side) there should be a metal panel on the front that can be removed by taking the 2 torx screws out

one of the other lads on here will probably have more specific instructions, and/or correct me, as my brains a bit fuzzy tonight 🙂

    if you want exp. diagrams:

always remember to ask these lads from ukwg for prices before ordering anything direct from bosch as they *can* sometimes be cheaper 🙂

    gandh1,
Many thanks for your reply and apologies in advance for my complete incomptance 😳
Power off – so far so good
Pull out 6 inches – yes I can manage that
2x torx screws removed from white plastic kick plate at front – ok done
    take off kick plate … 😕 😕 😡 👿 ❗ ❗ 😥
after 30 minutes of pulling, wiggling, prising, shouting, the sodding white plastic kick plate is still refusing to budge. It’s been a long day at work – perhaps I’m just being dumb. Any top tips?! Does it have to slide forwards or downwards? Does the door have to be open? Am I just being a jessie?
    humbly yours
    Ken

Take the door outer panel off first and lift the front of the machine by about an inch. It’ll come off.

you also might find it easier if you can take the side panels off
