    Hi Folks.
I have looked at loads of BSH dishwashers, but have not encountered this one until today. Bespoke built in, B to get out, fault not heating, Instantaneous heater unit sort of mounted on its side in right hand rear corner . Checked continuity of heater ok.
Anyone know what other heating problems this model suffers from?.
I would like to be a wiser man before I embark on the adventure of removing this machine from its wonderfully fabricated cabinetry.
Any assistance as usual much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Mike.

    Mike,

Very often the valve at the bottom of the heat exchanger unit (thats the water matrix on the R/Hand side by the way) doesn’t shut off properly. (Often leaving a lot of water in the tub at the end of the cycle by the way). Now if the heat exchanger tank doesn’t fill correctly because of the dodgy valve, then insufficient water flows through the heater and the heater pressure microswitch doesn’t kick in 😉

Worth a look whilst you’ve got it out, easy machine to work on when you have 🙂

Many Thanks Martin, I noticed the valve you indicate but was not sure of its purpose.
I will let you know how I get on.

    Regards,
    Mike
