I have a BOSCH SMS 65 which was working OK however for some reason the spray arms have stopped turning and the wash is no longer effective.
Is this something simple that I can deal with?

What’s the full model number on your machine Chris?
Could be a number of likely reasons 🙁 Lack of water the main one of course!

The m/c no is SMS6502GB-07.
Lack of water? It seems to fill up OK and the dishes appear wet and it does wash them a bit. What puzzles me is the spray arms no longer turn. They are free and unblocked but something is wrong.
What tests or info do you need?
Should I check the pump impeller is turning as the little video on the BOSCH web site?

Lack of water to the spray arms is what Martin refered to Chris 😉
They rely on water pressure to make them rotate so they are either blocked (ruled out by the sound of it) or there is insufficient water pressure to them which could either be a blockage or the main circulation motor is failing.
Power off when checking please :zap: or if you’re uncertain please ask an engineer to attend, Repairs@ should provide one 🙂
