I have expired a problem with my dishwasher. One day it suddenly stopped. I removed it from the bench and took of the shield on the side. When I tried starting it again I discoverd that it was leaking out of a hole in the watersystem on the side of the machine look

    Pett,
Your problem is almost certain to be a blockage in the black hose from the base of the chamber in your picture which goes underneath the tub and joins the side of the sump. Clean this out and all will be well

Weird how these things work out – went to an integrated, old, Bosch yesterday – flooded undertray and set off flood protection. It was of course, as Sparkey says, the baffle to sump hose choked. That’s the one coming off the fill chamber (or baffle) at the 6 o’clock position in the picture. Remove from both ends, flush out, clear both spouts, and it will work!

    Pull the plug first………….

    Regards,
    Penguin45.
