Hi all , anyone know what the test program is for these models , i have the sms tech manual but ti doesnt give a test program although it talks about it ?? ive no heat , customer lives in a high limescale deposit area renowned for problems with showers and kettles

Start by checking the resistance of the heater. (The resistances are given in section 5.8.1 of your service manual 😉 ) if that checks out OK then the module is your problem. Though if your customer is idiotic enough not to have used salt in the hard water area then for sure the heat pump will need replacing. Either way it’s going to be costly. 🙁

Cheers Martin, i will check resistance just thought there might be an easy detection with the elusive test programs

No resistance from elements, 28k ohms from ntc which is way out according to the manual also the manual shows 7 tags on the heater and i only have 6 , also no power coming to the heaters when running
