Bosch SMS50E02GB/02 dishwasher flashing

Looked at a freestanding dishwasher that was flashing error code E15.
Drained water from base and now the only lights that flash are “check water & rinse aid” dishwasher wont let me select a program and wont reset either.
Checked for blockages and there are non.
Customer had been using the dishwasher without the salt cap.
Any ideas? 😀

Have you tried switching off from the wall and put it back on again? Sometimes it helps. Also extract the water from salt chamber and refill with clean water refit lid. Even try disconnect inlet hose from rear of dishwasher then refit.
