Bosch sms50e06gb 04 E14 error code and water check light

Hi there i just purchased a bosch dishwasher,After plumbing it in and powering it up after approx 30 seconds it stops filling the tank and drains it all out instead and the water check light comes on then e14 error code.I took the cover off and it starts to fill the tank approx 2 inches then drains the lot, the impellor is free spinning and no obvious gunk in there.

E14 is a flow sensor error where the reed switch on the flow control could be at fault. Though other issues can result in it throwing up that error code it is a good place to start looking. 😉

thanks martin it turned out to be misaligned connector pins and a dirty circuit board all working again

Omg I can’t believe how simple a fix my Bosch dishwasher was in the end you need a part from Bosch (00611317) basically a chip that clips in under a plastic flap on the left side of the dishwasher the part was about £19 inc postage from Bosch a fixed instantly! 5 minute job even my mum could do it !

Can’t believe I was pulling my hair out over a tiny circuit board left hand side under semi circle plastic flap
