Bosch SMS6702

Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice.

I have a Bosch SMS6702 and been a great machine but the last days does not take water, when i use the prewash program take in water but very slow(not as in the past) the rest programs do take any water… i suspect that it is somethink wrong with the mechanism which is installed at the inlet just after the tap.

Hi zania

Check you have no kinks (bends) in water hoses to machine inlet valves..

If these check out ok, your next step is to switch off machine at power outlet, and remove plug if possible..

Then after turning off water supply at taps, you slowly remove water pipes from rear of machine..
Then look at the small white plastic filter, which is simply slid in to the rear of the inlet valve on machine.. If these need cleaning they can be pulled out using a long nose pliers or similar tool..

If after these steps you still have the problem.. Then its more than likely the water inlet valves need replacing..

Also if you can remove the soap drawer, and look at the roof of the housing,you may find that this needs a good cleaning.

Muv hasn’t realised that Zania is referring to a DISHWASHER rather than a washing machine. And Zania’a problem sounds like the water inlet transfer pipe, between the water inlet matrix and the tub, is probably blocked. It therefore needs removing and cleaning to resolve I’m thinking.:wink:
