    Bosch SMS69L02UK/15 dishwasher. FD8910.

Start a program, drain pump on, momentary fill from inlet valve then the fill chamber solenoid at the bottom opens and stays humming for a few moments until F21 fault on the display. Took out the reed switch and meter tested it – seems OK. When the valve is switched on then off the module clicks; after the second click – no power to the valve.

I am thinking PCB failure – anyone else had this fault?

    Thanks,

    Steve.

Sounds like a relay on the module. Although I haven’t ever come across this particular fault 🙁

Replaced PCB today – no difference. I double checked everything – start program, pumps, wash motor runs for a few seconds, valve open for 2 seconds then off (no power to valve) then the buzz of the tank drain valve solenoid. Checked heater and all plugs on the module, changed reed switch…….still doesn’t bl00dy fill!!!! 😈
I’m all out of ideas on this; anyone help at all? Any tech available?

    Thanks,

    Steve.

    Hi

F21 or E21 is wash pump blockage.
I had one yesterday with same symptoms as yours ,it was a flooded base.Which should have shown F15 but was showing F21.

    Thanks for the replies!!

How do you get the motor and heater off these machines? And I suppose you can only know if the motor is duff by substitution of a new unit. The base was empty and the float switch was down. No sign of a leak. I forgot however that when the new PCB was fitted F8 flashed up during setup. The machine then was set to a program and again faulted.
Job for the BSH guys methinks….I’m just too busy ATM to get involved much further.
Unless anyone has any other ideas…….. 😉

    Thanks again!!

    Steve.
