Hi All

Been to look at this machine on saturday.
Matrix is constantly filling with only a trickle of water whilst drain pump is running constantly. Have checked overflow and base is dry, machine has aquastop valve which I am not familiar with.
Could a faulty valve affect drain pump aswell?

Drain pump controlled by float switch in the base so maybe that’s jammed with something underneath it maybe?

Aquastop valve may be at fault here but first you need to check the flow from the stopcock first? If the pressure is good then the valve filter is either crudded up or the aquastop valve faulty? Also check that the float in the matrix isn’t sticking and that the black sump hose from the matrix isn’t crudded up either?

Finally, in hard water areas, and where folks don’t use salt in their machine mostly, the inlet nozzle at the top of the matrix can getting scaled up and cause water not to flow correctly down the matrix and mostly through the overflow into the tub instead (one to look out for. :wink:)

Aquastop not working and matrix flowing straight to overflow.

Also found heater not working so machine Ber.

pcb has gone had the same fault this week , take a look at pcb there is a row of triacs 2 nd 1 up will have blown away ..
