    Hi all

    We have a Bosch SMV40C00GB dishwasher and the tap indicator light has started flashing. It makes a low humming sound on and off both when the door is open or closed. There is no water in the dishwasher itself. This started happening after we momentarily turned the pipe tap to ‘off’ but immediately back on again so it feels like there is likely a connection. We have tried turning off and on at the plug but with no effect.

    Any advice appreciated!

    Not unknown for the blue plastic top of the tap to break, may appear to be on when in fact it isn’t.

    Thanks so much – we had a play around with that and seem to have rectified the issue
