Bosch SMV40T10GB/14 integrated dishwasher fault

Hello,
We have an issue with a Bosch dishwasher where the drain pump just constantly pulses. Wondered if anyone could shed any light on this?
On the control panel, the “check water, rinse aid and salt” light are lit constant.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have had this twice with two different outcomes.

1. The customer removed the cover in the sump and placed it in a pot on the window seal.
2. The main pcb had blown but managed to fix with a bit of wire and solder
