Bosch SMV46GX01G/28 Dishwasher Error Code: E03

Good evening all,

Please could someone confirm what the above error code relates to on the above integrated dishwasher?

I was called to rectify a bad leak problem, due to “mice” gnawing through the drain hose in several places.

So, having replaced the drain hose, I tried running a quick wash cycle in order to make sure all was well.

However, having completed an initial drain, the machine aborts the cycle, beeps, and displays the above error code, which cannot be reset.

I’ve tried switching off the supply for a few minutes, then restarting to no avail. The machine simply displays E03 and nothing else.

I suspected that the aqua stop hose may also be faulty, as the fault occures when water should be drawn, and there are signs of rodent damage to this hose too.

However, having tried to ensure what error code E03 relates to, I’m getting conflicting results… aqua stop, heat pump, board fault…

Any help much appreciated.

p.s. could anyone recommend a decent product to protect such pipework, other than pvc/insulation tape?
