Bosch SMV50C00gb/03 not starting

Hi Folks,

I called to this integrated model yesterday and the display seems to function ok but won’t start a wash. At one stage it ran the drain pump so I know that’s working, but when all went back together it’s the same initial fault. When you first turn on there’s a few grumbly noises, but once you hit start and the light goes solid there’s no internal responses. No error signals. Sound familiar to anyone?! Thanks, Simon

Those “grumbly noises” I take it is the drain pump running? That being the case then after the pump runs for a few seconds it should then start filling. So I’d take a look at the fill valve, flow meter to see what gives there. 💡

Thanks Martin,

No, there’s no noises at all once you’ve pressed start. The only noises are when you press the on/off button, and it isn’t the sound of the pump running. Simon

A close look at the Power module is called for I reckon and that daft designed kettle plug connection.
