Bosch SMV50C00GB/07 dishwasher red tap light illuminated

Yesterday the brush symbol light on my fully integrated Bosch SMV50C00GB/07 dishwasher was flashing after the wash and the items were still dirty. I inspected the inlet & outlet pipes for blockages, cleaned filters, examined waste water pump – no obstructions, impeller rotating OK. I ran the machine again this time 5 beeps when it came to drain water tap symbol flashing, the water extraction pump kept running on and would not stop except by resetting machine. Ran the machine a third time, seemed to complete full wash dishes seemed clean, no residual water but water tap light illuminated.

Similar problems seem to point to the Impeller Jug however on the Bosch spares page for this machine i cannot locate a traditional looking impeller jug https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/supportdetail/product/SMV50C00GB/07#/Tabs=section-spareparts/

any ideass what the problem is and how to remedy it?

Page 4 item 0405 contact is the reed switch on your machine.

Thanks for that. I have replaced the reed switch but the water tap light is still illumiated after running a cycle. I’m Stumped. Have you gaot any ideas?
