Bosch SMV50C00GB just pumps cold water around

Hi forum,
I have bought a brand new Bosch SMV50C00GB less than a week ago.
Thought I had a deal as comes with 2 year guarantee.
I have used it twice. We went to empty the machine today, and there was standing water in the bottom. Now I read the booklet and it says that the filter could be blocked. We have used it twice, so not likely. However I did remove th efilter, and of course there was nothing inside.
Strangely after switching off at the mains and back on again, I could not get any buttons to respond.
I reset the machine according to the booklet and I was able to select a program.
So I start the machine again, – no beep like before and shut the door. Water pumps out, then re-fills, and you can hear water being sprayed around. All lights on the control panel are off, and the abort function does not work.
Have I made yet another poor purchase?

Not really, simply contact your supplying dealer for assistance.

Have you actually installed your appliance or is it standing on its own ? The lights on the display will go off when you close the door as its an intergrated machine so has no need for any display led’s when the doors closed. The buttons will prob be disabled too with the door closed .
