Bosch SMV50C00GB stops after filling with water

I have a Bosch SMV50C00GB dishwasher that has developed a fault. When switched on it starts to fill with water as usual but after a while beeps five times (c.3 seconds between beeps) and stops working. Opening the dishwasher at this point, the base is full of cold water which then has to be manually baled out.

I have tested this three or four times and it does the same thing every time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

When this fault occurs will it not drain out using the program reset function?

No it doesn’t seem to drain out after resetting. There is some sound of water being pumped somewhere after a reset but it stops quite quickly and the bottom is still full of water
