    Somebody nicked the copper from local substation causing a power surge blowing this dishwasher along with the boiler electronics plus a few other things. However looking up the price of the control board I get:0064751 programmed @ £96.59 or 00647386 not programmed @£106.46. Can anyone confirm that this is correct as I would think it would be the other way round.

    Check on the Bosch website is the best way to answer that. But in any event you can only fit the programmed version.

    Yes Martin thats where I got the info from but it sows seeds of doubt in my mind.For a start how can you tell the difference between a programmed and an unprogrammed board.Fit an unprogrammed board and the machine will still be dead.Fit a programmed board and the machine could still be dead and requires the fascia board as well (Ive just had this problem with a Hoover W/d).I just wondered if anybody had fitted the 0064751 board and if it was ok.

    00647251 is the one you need. It is fully programmed too. 😀

    The number you mentioned was a digit missing. And you can’t miss your digits out – not in this game :clown:
