Hello,
I have a Bosch SMV50E00GB/01 integrated dishwasher that seems to be overfilling. Every time this happens a small amount of water comes out on either side of the door, the tap light (I believe this is something to do with the aquastop) flashes and the protection circuitry kicks in sticking the dishwasher in drain mode even with the door open. I can fill the sump with water from a jug and it drains away freely. The reset won’t work when this problem occurs, and I have to turn the dishwasher off at the wall.
Tilting it backwards to allow any water to drain out of the protection circuitry acts as a temporary fix, but after a few loads the problem reappears. Also, there’s sometimes a lot of water in the base of the machine, as though it’s actually struggled to drain. I’ve cleaned the filter,checked that the impeller isn’t blocked, checked that the hose to the drain and the drain istelf are clear, and have tried using separate powder and rinse aid instead of 3in1, but can’t think of what else to try.
