I’ve this fault on my dishwasher. Cleaned out the filter, unplugged it for 10 minutes, reset the appliance and can’t get past this fault. Is it undoubtedly the pump/heater?

If so, I see they’re £150 or so on eSpares. Watched one of their videos on a hotpoint dishwasher but looks a pretty straightforward replacement task…

Calling all experts…. is this so?

    Thank you Pete

Hello Dave, thank you for your reply. I’m no electrician so unsure how I test the heater. The last 2 digits are 11 and I’ve looked on the Bosch website and the pumps are £165 so cheaper than £1000 to replace it with a good dishwasher. Thinking about biting the bullet and risking just buying the pump/heater and swapping it out. Is this a good idea do you think before testing the heater? I’ve an electrician friend who may be able to talk me through it….

    tTank you Peter

ransom spares seem to be cheaper but spending £140 or so on a guess can get expensive if your wrong

The heater comes with the pump doesn’t it? Or are they 2 separate items?

there are one or 2 suppliers now saying they can supply the heater alone. it does not come from Bosch as they only sell it as a complete unit

not tried one yet as not had the opportunity to and only one of my suppliers is showing as an option but has no stock
