ParticipantHi,
I need the specs for the D45X microswitch found in the door on many dishwashers of Bosch.
The BOSCH sparepart number is 187205 – and it costs about 25€ – and I know that a generic microswitch will cast about 2€ – just needs the specs – anyone has them at hand? (Else I will just open the door and find the spcs and post here)
Best regards

good idea 😥 then if you get the specks wrong and someones dishwasher catches fire because of it then they can sue you.

Hi,
I agree that safety is important.
When I dismantled the washing-machine – I saw it was a standard Cherry D45X – and thought that that was enough information.
But I have found out – that I need more information in order to buy a standard D45X microswitch – and that’s why I am asking for that information.
If I dont get it here – I just find the hard way – dismantle the door once more 🙂
Safety first – then save.
B’regards

Everybody stop. Take a deep breath….. and exhale.
Right. Information is provided to members of the public by professional members of the UK repair trade. Almost without exception, we will fit suitable manufacturers parts or a like for like alternative – from a trade wholesaler with a known track record. The actual specification of any given component is of little interest to us – we just need to fit another one on a like for like basis.
A member of the public has an option which we don’t – time. If the OP has the time to try and save a few Euros good luck to him; it’s a luxury that we pros just don’t have.
