    Hi – I have a Bosch WFF1401GB/01 with a broken drum spider. I have searched everywhere for a replacement with no joy. I have the EBI catalogue but it doesn’t seem to list that machine. I think I know the answer but does anyone know of a compatible replacement? I’ve managed to keep this machine going for 25 years and have always managed to source parts previously. I’d really rather not chuck it now. Thanks, Neil

    spider was only supplied with the drum
    last price was £200

    but now obsolete

    OK thanks, Dave. Really I can’t complain abut a machine that fails afer 25 years! Time for a new toy…

    will guarentee the new one wont get that old

    most are sealed tubs these days so you can never change bearings

    look at bosch WAN series at least the tub was still splitable last time i checked

    avoid the bottom of the range models of any make
