Guys,
Can any of you guys identify the likely fault that relates to a Bosch SPS 546 I have gone to see.
The problem is that in the ‘wash’ cycle the motor does not operate, instead the machine just goes through this cycle filling and draining.
Having looked at the information available on this site I understand that the SPS series are a nighmare to work on (when it comes to access of components. Having some insight into the problem will definately give me a helping hand though!!!!

if motor turns…check to see if there is a start capacitor nearby..fidder
