bosch sps2442 canot fill with water

Greetings.
The machine is about 8 years old ,but it has not been working for some time and the problem is the tube.the water stucks up before entering the gel compartment and the gel is pink /from the side wich the water goes in/,not red how it should be..I wonder could I open the tube or call Bosch servise to try to find spare tube for this model

If someone had that problem ,do not be shy to share 😀

Do you mean the “Aqua Stop fill hose” from the tap to the side tank is not working, or that there is a problem with the water going through the side tank?

No it is not the aqua stop fill hose …All connections are fine and the water goes in the dishwahser thru the valves ,but after entering the tube it stops before the gel compartment where is the problem ..Some percentage of the gel has different colour and i still do not know would it be fine to open that tube :rolls: ..The technician refused to do it because it was late and it took him quite a lot of time to test most parts and find the problem …At least I am reliefed that i learned a little on the hardware 😀

Ah. This will sound crazy……… Take a plastic screwdriver. When the machine starts to let the water in, use the handle of the screwdriver to tap the area where the “gel” has formed, rapidly and not very hard. The gel should gradually break up and let the water flow through the chamber.

it worked 😀 😀 😀 ,but now i have poor wash results and the washing machine stops between cycles pre-rinse and normal/strong wash.I think it does not dryes everything ,although I am very happy for the water fix 😀
