    E.Nr SPS 6432GB/06
Dishwasher starts, initial pump out, stops and buzzes (fill solenoid) no water enters.Customer pours pan full of water in and machine does a wash and empties, repeats for rinses(marigolds and fairy liquid would be easier). The fill valve unit has two pipes from it, one to the filling matrix and a clear pipe presumably to drain the valve. How does this valve work and how do you access it-machine laid on its back two torx screws removed but the bottom only hinges forward a couple of inches(plugs and small float chamber unclipped from base).

I might be asking some basic questions here but I’m retraining myself on dishwashers after a layoff of ten years and they aint any easier!

Yes there is water to the inlet valve.

The fill matrix has some sort of blockage. The small hose going to the valve is a pneumatic shut-off if the overflow chamber is flooded.

    Cheers,
    Chris.
