Hi
I have a bosch SRS4002GB/01 slimline dishwasher. Has been working fine until the other day when it didnt completely empty of water.
I have checked the filters and pump impeller for blockages and all seem clear.
I have then run it through a cycle with the waste pipe in the sink, it ran through a full cycle but only the smallest trickle of water came from the pipe and bottom of dishwasher still full of water.
I have then run it through a cycle with the waste pipe into a bowl at floor level, this time the dishwasher went through a full cycle and drained properly, pumping all the water out!
Now i need help! Do i need a new pump and if so is it possibe to fit without an engineer? or could there be something more simple preventing the pump from working 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

Two possibilities.
Blockage down the line, or worn pump. If you can wield a screwdriver, remove the left hand side panel and have a damn good look at the matrix. The rear two tubes are the drain side – there may be an obstruction in there. It unclips sideways and lifts away for cleaning purposes. They have a bad habit of sludging in the top left hand corner, jamming the anti-syphon device – strange things then happen.
Pump motors do wear out. They may run, but a worn (noisy) unit simply may not get up to speed and therefore not clear the water. P/no 165261 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one prmptly enough, but no chance before Christmas. Marigolds time, I’m afraid.
Power off if you’re doing this yourself.

Cheers for the info and taking the time to reply.
Will have a look at the matrix and check for any obstructions there, if not a new pump after xmas!
Guess id better get down the shops for some marigolds so i can wrap them up for the girlfriend in time for tomorrows big day!!!
