Fault reported on this machine was not filling.

When checking the machine the drain pump starts then the machine tries to fill and the wash pump switches on while the drain pump continues to pump.

The anti-flood float & micro switch check out OK.

I am guessing the odds are on this being a fault with the control module. Has anyone come across this before?

On the left side of the machine have you checked the mixer intake chamber & the hose that comes from the mixer chamber & goes to the sump of the machine, need to take door front panel & kick plates off at bottom, both parts mixer chamber & hose can get blocked up,
mixer unit has a red float on right if this gets blocked and the hose gets blocked to, the machine will start to fill & then start to drain & start to wash, you can hear the inlet valve turning on & off, remove both parts and clean properly, remove only the chamber end that the sump hose goes into by the red float, any help let me know.

The water ran through it without restriction and didn’t lift the float. You could see the micro-switch wasn’t actuated while the pump ran.

    SRS45E08GB/21?

PCB – this is a displacement fill machine with a diaphragm switch on the matrix. No mushrooms, no impellor jugs. If flood protection is not activating, there’s nothing else.

Thanks Penguin, that,s what I thought, I just wanted to confirm it before getting a replacement PCB.
