ParticipantHi,
I’ve thoroughly searched for topics describing a problem like mine but nothing quite gets there with my Bosch Exxcell Slimline which operates satisfactorily in all respects except I dont think the rotating arms spin any more. The water gets heated and sloshes about top and bottom but the arms dont move, or barely do after I place them in a known start position.
I’ve had the inside ‘sump’ out and there was no significant blockages there so wonder if it is the circulating pump that could be failing?
Appreciate any advice especially how to get the kick plate off!😆

I’m assuming you have removed and cleaned the spray arms, though you didn’t mention that?
The bad news is that it is very likely the water diverter (an integral part of the heater unit) has jammed. Meaning the only cure is to replace the ‘Instantenious Water Heater’ (part no. 483058) the cost of which is £100.64…….. 🙁
Less likely, though very common, is something has got caught in the main circulating pump Impellor. I use a torch and dentist type mirror to look inside the pump chamber. Any debris can fairly easily be spotted and then cleared using a piece of wire with hook on the end.
My money though is on the heater unit needing replacing and that’s a big costly job.
HAPPY NEW YEAR….!

Hmmm..thanks for quick reply but as you say not good news :eeek: .
The arms are clean by the way.
How do you get at this part – is it just a case of taking the outer casing off? Could really do with an exploded diagram for this model – any ideas where there is one on line please?AT £109 its still way cheaper than a new machine if I fit it myself Is it relatively straightforward job (I’m handy)?

Why on the Bosch web site of course. 😀

No, and that’s good to here (in that order) 😉
