ParticipantHi,
I have searched through the posts here and cant find anything relating to my issue.
My Bosch Classixx Maxx Slimline dishwasher stopped working. No issues prior to this problem. The wall switch supplying power to the machine was turned off while machine was in wash cycle (near the end, I think). It was turned back on almost immediately, but now no lights come on in the control panel.
I have checked the fuse in the plugtop and proved power to the socket.
Using a multimeter I’ve proved that power is getting to the on/off switch on the door, and from there via the door lock switch to the circuit board.
But no lights come on below the buttons on the door.
Is there a reset procedure?
Could it be the circuit board?!!?? Hope not. The finances have still to recover from Christmas!!!
Elsewhere on the web, and for a different issue, someone suggested switching on while holding down buttons! Dont know if that is an option here. Have tried various combinations, but none worked.
What tests can I perform to test the board? ThanksJanuary 6, 2014 at 8:32 am #407175Martin

The key question is that wall switch, does it work? Can you plug any other appliance or lamp into it to confirm it does first of all?

Yes, the wall socket works ok. The Washing machine works from the same multi-socket strip.
I have swapped them in to each others sockets and the washing m/c works fine.
I have tested from there to the dishwasher and the power is getting to the main on/off switch on the door, then to the door lock/switch and then to the printed circuit board inside the door. 232 volts all the way.

Hmmm? I’m thinking the control board has blown. Check it for surface component damage.

Hi Martin, Thanks for the quick responses. Do you know how to get the cover apart on this model? I appreciate your advice, and so will my wife if I can fix this!!!

Arm yourself with a T20 Torx screwdriver and the rest is easy…!
