    Hi all,

Have been surfing the net and came across this site. I am hoping that someone may be able to help me. I have a Bosch SRS56A02GB slimline dishwasher which is approx 4 years old. I have had it in storage for about a year and a half. Have tried connecting up. However it will not fill with water. Before I call an engineer any suggestions from anyone? Help most appreciated.

Any noises? Drain pump should run first, then fill, then circulation. More info please 😀 .

The dishwasher hums when I start it up and I can hear a clicking sound from the back near the inlet hose.

Well have taken left panel off. Before trying again I tilted back to 45 degress and no water appeared. I switched on and saw some water entering the dishwasher however more scarily I saw some smoke!! It appears to be coming from close to a red chamber of some kind. Of course I have now shut down and switched off. Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think in all fairness you will have to admit defeat and get an engineer in if you desire. Isolate the water and mains to the appliance and use the engineer link below.
