Bosch SRS56A08GB Not Draining

Hello,

My Bosch SRS56A08GB dishwasher does not drain at the end of its programme, and I cant seen to access the pump area that I’ve read a lot about to check for pieces of glass etc.

I drained it manually, removed all the parts inside, cleaned the filters, even undid the screws and took the fittings out but could not see where the pump was.

The drainage pipe has water in it, I disconnected this from the sink and emptied it out, then reconnected everything, ran it again, but same results..

Any help would be appreciated.

The drain pump is a separate unit offset from the sump on this one, so the little access panel has now been deleted. It can be accessed from under the tub unit, but it’s awkward, to say the least.

Power off and be careful of sharp edges – work gloves are a good idea.
